CGP: SR Accountant

Manage monthend close activities for multiple entities by preparing entries reviewing balances and ensuring timely reporting. Demonstrate experience preparing reconciliations and supporting multi entity accounting operations.

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $45.00 to $50.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:

• Manage monthend close activities for multiple entities by preparing entries reviewing balances and ensuring timely reporting.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to maintain accurate financial records.
• Review financial statements and analyze results to support management decision making.
• Prepare and submit sales and tax related filings while ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.
• Collaborate with accounting leadership to improve reporting processes and maintain accounting accuracy.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or a related field.
• Accounting experience with strong exposure to close and reporting responsibilities.
• Demonstrate experience preparing reconciliations and supporting multi entity accounting operations.
• Possess strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
• Use Excel at an advanced level with the ability to analyze data and create detailed reports.

Qualifications:

• Maintain strong attention to detail and ensure accuracy across financial records and reporting activities.
• Apply analytical skills to identify trends variances and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage multiple priorities effectively while meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders and build collaborative working relationships.
• Bring experience within restaurant hospitality or other service oriented industries considered beneficial.
