A leading manufacturer and distributor of durable medical equipment (DME), is seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer with expertise in manufacturing finance, corporate accounting, and executive financial leadership.

Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will partner closely with the leadership team to oversee all financial operations, strengthen internal controls, optimize profitability, improve financial reporting, and provide the strategic insight necessary to support continued expansion in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive leadership for all accounting, finance, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and financial planning functions across the organization.
  • Develop and execute financial strategies that support business growth, operational efficiency, and long-term profitability.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, KPI dashboards, and executive analysis that support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee annual budgeting, financial forecasting, cash flow management, and capital planning initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory requirements, internal controls, tax obligations, and corporate governance standards.
  • Partner with operations, manufacturing, sales, and executive leadership to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banking partners, insurance providers, and financial institutions.
  • Evaluate financial risks, implement mitigation strategies, and strengthen company-wide financial controls and reporting processes.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, including executive-level financial management.
  • Previous CFO, VP of Finance, Corporate Controller, or senior finance leadership experience.
  • Strong background in manufacturing, industrial, medical device, or durable medical equipment industries.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
  • Demonstrated success leading accounting and finance teams while driving operational improvements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, strategic planning, and organizational skills with the ability to influence executive decision-making.
  • Experience leading financial transformation, ERP implementations, or business process improvement initiatives.
