Join the dedicated team at Novant Health Crown Point Family Physicians where you'll work alongside experienced providers to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment.  This practice offers a variety of family medicine services in Southeast Charlotte with 7 highly rated providers.  In addition to adult primary care this practice also sees a high number of pediatric patients, women's services patients, and sports medicine patients.  Crown Point Family Physicians also offers walk-in services.

What We're Looking For:

• Education:
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
    
  • Required: Proof of current certification from one of the approved certifying registries
    • CMA with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
    • CCMA with the National Health Career Association (NHA)
    • RMA with the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
    • American Registry of Medical Assistants (NHCWA)
    • National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
    • National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP)
    • American Allied Health (AAH) RMA with the American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA).
    • If a candidate is not currently certified, they must obtain certification or registration by the end of the sixth month of their hire and sign an education agreement.
• Experience: Previous work in a medical office, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification: Current certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire as CMA, RMA or CCMA; required.
• Additional skills required: Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific skills validation and competency testing.

What You'll Do:

• Patient Care: Perform and document necessary preliminary exam needs on patient to include: height, 
• Partner with providers to deliver outstanding patient care and support efficient clinic operations.
• Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and updating electronic medical records.
• Perform clinical procedures within scope of practice, including injections, immunizations, medication administration, EKGs, point-of-care testing, and specimen collection.
• Coordinate patient flow to ensure timely, efficient visits while maintaining a positive patient experience.
• Assist with prescription refills, referrals, prior authorizations, and follow-up care.
