BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician / Service Technician to support an apartment community in Fort Worth, TX 76052 near Haslet, TX. We are looking for a motivated team player who can also work independently, prioritize tasks, and provide excellent service to residents and onsite staff.

Position Details

• Role: Certified Assistant Maintenance Technician / Service Technician
• Location: Fort Worth, TX 76052 (Near Haslet)
• Pay: $23-$24/hr
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• Start Date: ASAP
• Opportunity Type: Possible Temp-to-Hire

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and work orders efficiently and professionally
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance issues
• Assist with apartment make-readies and unit turns
• Perform preventative maintenance on community equipment and amenities
• Maintain community grounds and common areas as needed
• Ensure all work is completed according to safety and quality standards
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents
• Support the maintenance team with daily operations and special projects

Requirements

• EPA Certification or HVAC Certification Required
• Previous apartment maintenance experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Must have a positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Own tools preferred
