About This Opportunity
Lead a growing industrial services company through its next phase of strategic growth and operational excellence. This executive role requires proven leadership experience in industrial services with a track record of driving results in a private equity-backed environment. You will partner with the current CEO to learn the business as he transitions into a Chairman role.
What You'll Be Doing: Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute comprehensive business strategy to drive profitable growth and market expansion
Lead strategic planning initiatives including M&A opportunities, market penetration, and service line expansion
Partner with private equity stakeholders to deliver on investment thesis and value creation objectives
Build long-term strategic partnerships with key customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders
Operational Excellence
Drive operational improvements across service delivery, safety performance, and customer satisfaction
Implement best-in-class processes and systems to support scalable growth
Ensure consistent service quality and operational efficiency across all locations and business units
Lead digital transformation initiatives to modernize operations and improve competitive positioning
Financial Management
Own P&L responsibility and financial performance against budgeted targets and PE investor expectations
Manage capital allocation decisions including equipment investments, facility expansion, and technology upgrades
Oversee pricing strategy and margin optimization across service offerings
Lead annual budgeting process and monthly/quarterly business reviews with board of directors
Team Leadership & Culture
Build and lead high-performing executive team while fostering culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Drive talent acquisition and retention strategies to support growth objectives
Establish performance management systems and leadership development programs
Champion safety culture and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
Stakeholder Management
Serve as primary interface with private equity sponsors and board of directors
Build and maintain relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention
Represent company in industry associations, conferences, and community engagement activities
Communicate company vision and performance to all stakeholders including employees, customers, and investors
What You Bring: Leadership Experience
15+ years of progressive leadership experience in industrial services or related sectors
Proven track record as CEO, President, or senior executive with P&L responsibility
Experience leading organizations through growth phases and operational transformations
Strong background in safety-critical industries with demonstrated safety leadership
Industry Expertise
Deep knowledge of industrial services markets including competitive dynamics and customer needs
Understanding of regulatory environment and compliance requirements in industrial sectors
Experience with complex B2B sales cycles and long-term customer contracts
Knowledge of industrial equipment, maintenance practices, and technology trends
Strategic & Financial Acumen
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive sustainable growth
Strong financial management skills with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and capital allocation
M&A experience including target identification, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration
Data-driven decision-making with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Personal Qualities
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
Exceptional communication and presentation skills for board and investor interactions
High integrity with strong ethical standards and commitment to safety
