Concord Hospitality is seeking a proactive and results-driven Catering & Sales Manager to lead social and corporate catering events, including guest room bookings. This role combines sales, event management, and guest service, with a focus on maximizing revenue and delivering exceptional experiences. A flexible schedule, including weekends (and peak-season Tuesday-Saturday), is required.

Key Responsibilities:
Sell and manage social and corporate catering events, including guest rooms, banquet food & beverage, and upselling contracted groups
Negotiate contracts, suggest menus, and coordinate room setups according to policy and client needs
Collaborate with hotel departments to ensure flawless event execution and guest satisfaction
Generate new business through solicitation, networking, and follow-up with past clients
Finalize and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and maintain accurate event records
Lead pre-event, on-site, and post-event communications to ensure service excellence
Monitor budgets, sales quotas, and revenue opportunities; implement strategies to increase catering revenue during low-demand periods
Conduct site tours for prospective clients and facilitate client meetings as needed
Train, delegate, and guide staff to ensure smooth operation of events and service standards
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' experience in catering sales, hotel convention services, banquet management, hotel sales, or culinary arts (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Guest-focused with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding service
