OVERVIEW
JOB TITLE: Career Development Center Office Student Assistant LOCATION: St. Paul PAY RATE: $16.50 HOURS: TBD
JOB SUMMARY:
The Career Development Center office is seeking outgoing and energetic students to assist with the daily operations of our office during the summer. This position is the first point of contact for our office and requires a high level of customer service. In addition, our student staff will work on projects with professional staff, provide support for department sponsored events, and additional operational duties, as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Answer multiple department phone lines
Greet all guests and provide a warm welcome
Assist with daily administrative tasks
Provide campus wayfinding directions
Assist employers and recruiters, as needed
Participate in campus events, as needed
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide high level customer service to ensure a welcoming and inclusive space for all visitors.

Ability to work 12-15 hours per week during this summer
Successful completion of university background check
ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for student employment, St. Thomas students must be degree seeking at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.
