Cardiovascular Tech

Facilitates physician's performance of invasive and therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Ensures quality patient care during the operative procedure and is constantly monitoring the maintenance of the sterile field.

Requirements

Day Shift, 10 hr shifts. Heart experience required.

Education and Work Experience:

• Associate Degree or Certificate of Program Completion in Surgical Technology: Required

• Relevant acute care experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• National Board of Surgical Technologists or Association of Surgical Technologists certified: Preferred

• Cardiopulmonary ResClientitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Preferred
