Job Summary:

Wesley Medical Center is recruiting a second cardiothoracic surgeon to help grow an established, expanding cardiothoracic and thoracic surgery program serving the Wichita and surrounding area.   This is an opportunity to join an active, full-scope cardiac and thoracic practice alongside an experienced cardiothoracic surgeon with strong institutional support and significant growth potential.

Wesley Medical Center offers a comprehensive cardiothoracic program including:
  • Adult cardiac surgery (coronary revascularization, on- and off-pump, aortic surgery, valve surgery repair and replacement)
  • Structural heart procedures in collaboration with interventional cardiology
  • ECMO support (cardiac and pulmonary)
  • General adult thoracic surgery (lung resections, benign and malignant; esophageal surgery,  mediastinal and chest wall disease)

Qualified Candidates:
  • Board certified or board eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Comfortable managing general adult cardiac and thoracic surgery
  • Interest in structural heart and program development
  • Collegial, team-oriented surgeon eager to build a long-term practice
