    Your mission

    Lead a high-performing extraction lab where safety, quality, and output all win. You’ll orchestrate daily hydrocarbon extraction and post-processing, mentor a capable team, codify best practices, and keep our operation clean, compliant, and audit-ready. You’ll also champion continuous improvement—refining workflows, enhancing product uniformity, and pushing formulations forward.

    Core responsibilities

    • Oversee daily extraction lab operations and ensure safe, efficient, compliant production
    • Recruit, schedule, and develop team members; assign tasks to hit production and inventory goals; foster open communication
    • Collaborate with the Senior Production Manager to plan capacity and achieve business-aligned targets
    • Draft and refine SOPs for extraction, distillation, winterization, refining, formulating, and safe gas/equipment handling
    • Maintain documentation and inventory to meet state regulations, OSHA, and GMP standards
    • Execute cleaning and preventative maintenance per manufacturer specs and internal procedures
    • Drive innovation and share insights on cannabinoids, terpenes, and distillation trends

    Qualifications

    • 21+ years old
    • High school diploma/equivalent required; bachelor’s in biology, chemistry, or related discipline strongly preferred
    • 5+ years relevant experience with 4+ years in leadership within a state-certified cannabis extraction/processing facility (strongly preferred)
    • Expertise in hydrocarbon extraction and associated post-processing techniques
    • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, completing assignments per established instructions and practices
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; Google Sheets, Docs, Drive
    • Familiarity with inventory systems and standard lab/office equipment

    Manufacturing environment that requires extended time standing, walking, bending and reaching. Ability to carry up to 50lbs for up to a distance of 100ft may be required.
