Required Skills (Technical Competency) / Roles & Responsibilities :

• Lead camera and depth characterization and design validation across consumer electronic product

• Familiar with image quality evaluation methodology and general optical metrology

• Knowledge of image sensor and camera module

• System and functional level validation of Camera level use cases on hardware perspective

• Test setup specific for Camera validation

• Highly skilled in embedded testing - Automation scripting and Manual testing.

• Working knowledge of Android CE devices

• Should be familiarized with core embedded system concepts like MCU, SoC, Memory etc

• Should have knowledge of android tools and commands

• Expertise with Python and should be capable of doing shell/ batch scripting as required. Also understand Matlab.

• Understanding of adb commands. Working expertise with Python libraries like pandas, numpy, opencv etc. Should be able to find and use new libraries as required.

• Should be capable to work on both MAC and Windows operating systems

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Should be able to communicate effectively and positively

Preferred Qualification :

• In-depth understanding of contemporary camera & depth signal processing pipeline in consumer electronics products
• Dedication to advance the camera & depth related user experience in consumer products
• PhD in Optics or related field
