Cafe & Event Manager

Printfresh is opening a café and retail experience designed to feel joyful and memorable. The Lead Barista sets the standard and experience for every drink and every guest interaction and helps create a seamless, memorable cafe experience.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is passionate about coffee and thrives in a lively environment. We’re looking for someone who is eager to take on responsibility, develop their leadership skills, and help shape the future of the cafe.

Mission 

• Prepare excellent drinks with care, speed, and attention to detail. Help establish recipes, dial in the coffee each day, and support quality and consistency for all orders.
• Lead opening shifts, including setup, prep, equipment checks, quality control, and make sure the cafe is ready to welcome guests. 
• Partner closely with the Experiential Retail Lead, Coffee & Retail Flagship on training, daily operations, inventory, cleanliness, and team communication.
• Take a lead role in café events and activations—coordinating prep, drink menus, staffing, and day-of execution with the Experiential Retail Lead to deliver joyful, memorable experiences for guests.

Requirements

Skills and Requirements:

• Strong technical barista skills within all areas of drink preparation. 
• Previous experience working in a specialty coffee environment. 
• Friendly and composed under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deliver advice, information, and effective feedback to individuals and groups. 
• A natural attention to detail and ability to anticipate problems before they arise. 
• Excited to coach others and grow into a cafe management role.

Schedule:  

• This is a full-time role working five days per week, including at least one weekend day.
• The café opens at 7:00 a.m., so opening shifts will typically begin around 6:45 a.m. Flexibility will also be needed around peak periods, special events, and evolving business needs.
