Job Title: CAD and Design Associate
Pay: $20-25/hr
Hours: Mon-Fri from 7:00am - 3:30pm

As a CAD and Design Associate, you’ll support product design, development, prototyping, and testing activities for magnetic and electronic components. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers to expand your skills while contributing to meaningful projects.

What You'll Do
As a CAD and Design Associate, you will be responsible for:
  • Assist with hands-on testing of prototypes
  • Create prototype builds for product validation
  • Develop and maintain design documentation
  • Conduct basic product evaluations to ensure quality and functionality
  • Draft and model new drawings using CAD software
  • Update existing drawings to current standards with attention to detail
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
  • Working knowledge of industry-standard drafting software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Alibre
  • Meticulous attention to recording dimensions, tolerances, and electrical properties to prevent manufacturing errors
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) for technical reports and communication
  • Ability to apply academic knowledge (e.g., algebra, physics) to identify design inconsistencies and propose solutions
