    14712 - Business Process Consultant (Onsite) - Tallahassee, FL

    Start Date: ASAP
    Type: Temporary Project
    Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
    Work Setting: 100% of the time at the Client's site. No telecommuting or remote work. This is a non-negotiable requirement from the client. Only candidates able to relocate as required should apply to avoid removal from future consideration.

    Required:
    • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in Tallahassee, FL (required).
    • Experience with Information Technology (IT) business analysis (7+ years).
    • Experience with Business process engineering (4+ years).
    • Experience with Leveraging both IT solutions and business process improvements.
    • Experience with Strategic planning, tactical execution, process management, and business systems requirements definition.
    • Experience with Advanced management principles and practices, methods of data collection and analysis.
    • Experience with Process engineering principles and practices.
    • Experience with Microsoft Visio.
    • Experience with SharePoint.
    • Experience with Microsoft 365 Office Suite.
    • Experience with Business analyst software tools.
    • Experience with Working on one or more projects as a project lead.
    • Experience with Eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, and site visits.
    • Experience with Mapping business processes, use cases, tasks, and workflows.
    • Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL).
    • Experience with Azure DevOps.
    • Experience coaching junior staff.
    • Experience conducting fact finding research.
    • Experience with Architecture design.

    Responsibilities:
    • Work under the direction of the Agency's designated project manager. Participate in and lead activities as directed by the Client.
    • Work on large, complex projects that have enterprise-wide impact and require subject matter expertise of multiple process improvement areas and mastery of process improvement tools.
    • Work as a project team member on one or more projects to facilitate process improvements involving multiple business areas and/or state agencies.
    • Elicit, identify, analyze, and document business processes and requirements for business units and/or sister agencies. Translate business requirements into user stories and/or functional requirements. Document requirements and/or user stories and other work items in Azure DevOps. Design user interface screens.
    • Analyze the business processes and make recommendations for business process improvements. This requires a high level of understanding of the organization's business systems and processes.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between internal and external users and technical resources to translate business needs into technical requirements.
    • Understand technical problems and solutions in relation to the current, as well as the future business environment.
