Business Operations Analyst

We are hiring a Business Operations Analyst for our client located in Boston, MA. The person hired for this position will support business operations, policy, procedures, and project initiatives within a large public-sector organization.

Please note: No C2C, subcontracting, or visa sponsorship of any kind is available for this position.

This role works closely with management, IT teams, business units, and other stakeholders to analyze operational needs, develop solutions, coordinate projects, and ensure policies and procedures are effectively implemented.
Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with management and IT teams to identify and develop solutions to operational and program-related issues.
  • Support projects and initiatives by coordinating activities across multiple business units and stakeholders.
  • Manage and monitor project activities, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate and facilitate projects from planning through implementation and completion.
  • Analyze federal and state laws, regulations, policies, and other requirements to determine their impact on business operations and procedures.
  • Evaluate the impact of regulatory and policy changes on existing processes, employees, and the populations being served.
  • Recommend updates to policies, procedures, processes, forms, and other operational materials.
  • Work with management and business stakeholders to identify requirements for new or revised procedures and services.
  • Provide guidance on policies and procedures and assist in resolving operational questions, conflicts, and concerns.
  • Develop and update notices, forms, procedures, and other documentation to support compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external agencies or organizations on policy and procedural matters.
  • Develop clear, accurate documentation for a variety of audiences, including staff, clients, stakeholders, oversight organizations, and external partners.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, briefs, and other written materials related to business and policy initiatives.
  • Create procedural documentation, training materials, and supporting communications for staff.
  • Prepare written summaries and briefs regarding proposed policy or procedural changes.
  • Review reports, memoranda, communications, and other materials for accuracy, completeness, and clarity.
  • Coordinate and facilitate webinars, meetings, and informational sessions to communicate policy, procedural, and operational changes.
  • Review and coordinate distribution of materials developed by other business units.
  • Research and resolve operational questions and issues submitted by field or local offices.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Experience in business analysis, business operations, project coordination, policy analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Ability to interpret and translate complex policies, regulations, or business requirements into clear procedures and documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders across business and technical teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clear, accurate documentation.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, webinars, and presentations for varied audiences.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Experience working in a government, healthcare, regulated, or other complex environment is a plus.

  • Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Boston, MA.

Pay up to $64.25 / hour W2 depending on experience
