A well-established boutique law firm in Coral Gables is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its growing team. The firm handles a high volume of sophisticated business and real estate litigation matters and is looking for an attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take on meaningful responsibility.
This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants hands-on litigation experience, direct client exposure, and the ability to manage cases from inception through resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of business and real estate litigation matters from inception through trial
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
Conduct depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances
Handle all aspects of discovery, including strategy, drafting, and responses
Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Collaborate with partners on case strategy and execution
Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with deadlines and court requirements
Qualifications:
Active Florida Bar license required
5+ years of litigation experience (business litigation and/or real estate litigation preferred)
Strong drafting, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
Experience handling hearings, depositions, and case management
Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
