A bit about us:
Our client is a nationally recognized immigration law firm advising corporations, startups, universities, hospitals, and research institutions on complex U.S. immigration matters, with a practice built exclusively around immigration law. Alongside its core business immigration work, the firm maintains an active litigation practice that steps in when administrative processes break down pursuing federal court remedies for unreasonably delayed cases, challenging adverse agency decisions, and defending clients in enforcement matters. This dual focus lets the firm offer clients a complete strategy: strong front-end petition work paired with the ability to fight back when agencies fall short.
Why join us?
This role suits an attorney who wants substantive courtroom and briefing experience without leaving business immigration behind. Associates here get to work both sides of the practice drafting and defending employment-based petitions while also building skills in federal litigation, including mandamus actions, APA challenges, and responses to government enforcement activity. It's a rare combination: most business immigration roles are transactional only, and most immigration litigation roles are disconnected from the underlying petition work.
Associates work closely with partners who have national reputations in the field, on matters involving sophisticated corporate clients and high-profile cases. The firm's leadership is known for being responsive to associate feedback on workload and case management, and compensation is competitive with the broader market.

Strong legal writing and research skills, with the ability to produce persuasive briefs under deadline pressure
Comfort managing overlapping petition work and litigation deadlines simultaneously
Excellent communication skills for interfacing with corporate clients, government agencies, opposing counsel, and internal teams
