As a member of our Business Development team, you will spend time in the local market meeting restaurant and store owners, introducing HungryPanda, and helping new merchants join the platform. Your work continues after a merchant signs up: you will build the relationship, help resolve day-to-day issues, and work with the merchant to grow orders.
Develop new merchant partnerships. Identify potential restaurant and retail partners, visit them in person, understand their needs, and explain how HungryPanda can support their business.
Move opportunities through to onboarding. Follow up with interested merchants, discuss partnership terms, coordinate the required information, and help them complete the onboarding process.
Build lasting relationships. Visit partner merchants regularly, listen to their feedback, and coordinate solutions to operational or service issues.
Help merchants grow. Review order and GMV performance with merchants, identify areas for improvement, and suggest practical ways to increase their visibility and sales on the platform. GMV
Coordinate local promotions. Work with the Marketing team on relevant campaigns and promotional opportunities for merchants.
Keep merchant information accurate. Maintain merchant records and platform settings, and follow up when information needs to be updated.
Share market insights. Pay attention to local competitors, customer needs, and merchant feedback, and share useful observations with the wider team.
