Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends, staying informed about market developments and competitors' activities.
• Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and referrals.
• Qualify and prioritize leads based on their fit with our service offerings and target market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their business needs and presenting tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery for new clients.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, showcasing the value and benefits of our services.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts, pricing, and service agreements, adhering to company policies and profitability targets.
• Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives, regularly tracking and reporting on sales activities and performance metrics.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to the development of sales strategies and initiatives.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact the logistics industry.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Development Representative within the 3PL logistics industry.
• Strong knowledge of logistics operations, supply chain management, and freight forwarding.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at various levels of the organization.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
