Job DetailsDuties and Responsibilities
- Generate leads and identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within target client organizations.
- Develop repeatable processes for researching and gathering information on prospective clients and key contacts.
- Identify effective touchpoints and engagement opportunities with stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Research and understand property development and construction processes to uncover potential opportunities.
- Develop processes to track new multifamily developments that meet defined criteria within applicable service territories.
- Identify and track existing multifamily communities that align with target market criteria.
- Monitor relevant media outlets, business journals, industry publications, and other sources for potential leads.
- Create and maintain detailed prospect and property profiles to support business development efforts.
- Research competitors and develop processes for monitoring competitive activity.
- Identify, develop, and optimize new lead-generation channels.
- Create targeted outbound messaging and prospecting campaigns.
- Collaborate with marketing to strengthen existing channels and increase lead-generation effectiveness.
- Continuously evaluate, prioritize, and improve lead quality.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the sales team.
- Research and identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within target accounts.
- Rank and prioritize leads based on established segmentation criteria.
- Conduct outbound outreach to prospective clients and key decision-makers.
- Communicate the organization's initial value proposition to prospective clients.
- Qualify opportunities using established criteria and processes.
- Coordinate the handoff of qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales team member.
- Track leads and opportunities throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Build and maintain market maps of key builders, contacts, and geographic areas.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of inside sales, sales development, or business development experience.
- 1–2 years of marketing experience or demonstrated marketing knowledge.
- Demonstrated understanding of lead-generation processes, prospecting, and lead tracking.
- Creative and resourceful approach to developing lead-generation strategies and solutions.
- Strong research skills with the ability to uncover information, connect multiple data points, and translate findings into actionable opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Effective analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
