Are you a technical sales professional who knows industrial automation and loves to win new business? We’re recruiting for a Business Development Manager to lead growth for an Industrial Controls group at a well-established, employee-owned specialty contractor with 80+ years in the industry.
The Role
Drive new business development for the Industrial Controls group
Build relationships with prospects and convert them into long-term clients
Own tradeshow strategy and execution from planning to post-show reporting
Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and project management teams
Manage pipeline and leads through CRM
Shape content and marketing strategy alongside the marketing team
You’re a Great Fit If You Have…
3–5+ years in industrial controls, automation, or a related trade environment
Hands-on experience in technical sales or business development
Knowledge of industrial automation, controls integration, and UL 508A panel shop solutions
Experience managing tradeshows and marketing activities
Strong communication skills and the ability to present at all levels
CRM proficiency and a disciplined approach to pipeline management
A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client and job sites
