Iron Mountain is seeking an empowering Sales Director to join our Sales team.
In this leadership role, you'll have the opportunity to guide and inspire a high-performing business development team to drive growth across our core services and digital transformation solutions. Here, your expertise in strategic account planning and executive coaching will directly shape how we partner with enterprise clients to protect and activate their information assets. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our commercial footprint while fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented team culture.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will:
Lead and Coach Sales Talent : Guide, motivate, and mentor a team of Business Development Executives to meet revenue goals and navigate rewarding career paths across multiple service lines.
Drive Commercial Strategy & Growth : Develop and execute comprehensive account plans to expand our footprint within assigned books of business, ensuring a balanced pipeline spanning core services and digital solutions.
Support Complex Deal Execution : Partner with your team on key client pursuits, analyze deal profitability, and provide executive sales support to secure high-value opportunities.
Optimize Sales Infrastructure : Oversee sales pipeline accuracy within Salesforce, manage proposal generation, and streamline team workflows in a distributed work environment.
Foster Innovation & Market Engagement : Lead change management initiatives, champion corporate priorities, and represent Iron Mountain at strategic industry events to capture market trends.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
5+ years of sales management experience with a focus on new business development, ideally within business services or digital solutions.
3+ years of direct selling experience in a service industry, supported by formal sales training.
Strong knowledge of strategic account planning, deal profitability analysis, and complex solution selling across legacy and digital portfolios.
Proven ability to coach, build, and lead geo-distributed sales teams through effective change management and cross-functional collaboration.
Exceptional executive presence alongside strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
A 4-year college degree in business or a related field is preferred.
Willingness to travel as needed.
