Business Analyst
Location: Raleigh, NC (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months
Seeking for a Business Analyst to support the business process analysis and requirement gathering for the implementation of the Data Modernization Initiative project.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct stakeholder and market analysis
- Identify and document process workflows
- Create user stories and acceptance criteria
- Develop contextual diagrams and process workflows
- Gather, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements
- Perform functional and integrated testing
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and artifacts
- Create and maintain Requirement Traceability matrix
- Support UAT, including developing test scenarios and cases
- Build business, stakeholder, solution, and transition requirements
- Document gap analysis
- Author meeting minutes, user stories, and test scripts
- Follow PMO methodology documentation
- Attend PMO meetings
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience in documenting functional requirements and technical specifications
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Results-oriented with strong work ethic, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in cross-divisional work groups
- Comprehensive knowledge of Business Analysis and PMI PMBOK Guide
- Understanding of application programming, database, and system design
- Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
- Experience with SharePoint and healthcare data reporting systems
Must Have Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of business system analysis techniques and testing methodologies - 7 Years
- Experience in gathering business requirements and process flow development - 7 Years
- Proven experience with business process design and re-design - 7 Years
- Proficiency in Business Analysis methodologies and problem solving - 7 Years
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project - 7 Years
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in procurement document development including RFP - 5 Years
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Creative thinking, problem-solving, leadership, and team-building skills
Desired Experience:
- Experience working for State/Federal/Government projects
- Healthcare-related experience - 3 Years
- Knowledge of creating Context Diagram and Functional decomposition - 5 Years
