Job Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst / Project Manager with strong SQL, business analysis, data analytics, and financial domain experience. The ideal candidate will work closely with business, product, and technology teams to gather requirements, analyze data, define solutions, and support successful delivery.

Candidates with experience in FP&A, Revenue Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting, or P&L Analytics are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Conduct stakeholder interviews, requirement workshops, and process analysis.
• Translate business requirements into user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Create process flows, workflows, and data flow diagrams.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and Agile delivery.
• Analyze business data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Perform SQL-based data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Develop reports and dashboards using Excel and BI tools.
• Identify process gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Support UAT, validation, change management, and user adoption.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Managers, IT teams, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain project documentation and approved project artifacts.
• Coach team members and perform peer reviews of requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 5 7 years of experience in Business Analysis, Product Analysis, Operations Analysis, or related roles.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder communication and facilitation skills.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Strong SQL queries, joins, reporting, and data validation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including:
  • Pivot Tables
  • VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
  • Power Query
  • Complex formulas
  • Data cleansing and analysis
• Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI/reporting tools.
• Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile management tools.
• Understanding of APIs, data flows, and system integrations.
• Exposure to data warehouse projects is preferred.

Preferred Domain Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following domains are preferred:

• Finance: FP&A, Revenue Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting, P&L Analytics
• Sales: Sales Operations, Pipeline Analytics, CRM Insights, Revenue Growth
• Operations: Process Optimization, Workforce Planning, Productivity Analytics

Good to Have

• AI-assisted business processes and analytics.
• Data warehouse and reporting projects.
• Experience with process optimization and continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of financial and operational reporting.
