    Job Summary:
    The Business Analyst serves as a mid-level analyst within the CRA Reporting Team, supporting complex reporting, analytics, and compliance initiatives. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of CRA-related data while delivering insights that support strategic decision-making. The analyst partners closely with business units, Compliance, and senior leadership to maintain regulatory alignment and strengthen the organization’s CRA performance monitoring framework.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Data Management & Analytics:
    • Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards to monitor CRA lending, investment, and service activity across multiple business lines.
    • Develop and manage Alteryx workflows to automate large-scale data preparation, cleansing, and validation processes.
    • Utilize advanced Excel functionality (pivot tables, lookups, Power Query, VBA/macros when applicable) to perform ad hoc analysis and create standardized reporting templates.
    • Ensure all data sources are accurate, reconciled, and compliant with regulatory standards.
    Regulatory Reporting & Compliance Support:
    • Support preparation of quarterly and annual CRA regulatory submissions, ensuring data integrity and readiness for examiner review.
    • Respond to ad hoc reporting requests from senior leadership, internal auditors, and regulators.
    • Collaborate with Compliance and Data Governance to interpret CRA regulatory guidance and apply requirements correctly within reporting outputs.
    Process Improvement & Documentation:
    • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, accuracy, and automation throughout the CRA reporting lifecycle.
    • Document business rules, data definitions, and process flows to ensure consistency and repeatability.
    • Share subject matter expertise with junior analysts and provide peer review to uphold reporting standards.
    Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with stakeholders in Compliance, Risk, Community Development, and Business Units to ensure accurate population tracking.
    • Translate regulatory requirements and data findings into clear insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Serve as a point of escalation for complex reporting and data interpretation questions within the CRA Reporting Team.
    Required Experience:
    • Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience in System Support or Analytics
      OR
    • High School Diploma or GED and 7 years of experience in System Support or Analytics
    Nice-to-Have Experience:
    • Analytics, modeling, or reporting experience
    Required Skills:
    • Programming and software skills including Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, PowerPoint, and Excel
    • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally within a team
    • Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities
    Preferred Skills:
    • CRA regulatory knowledge
    • Advanced business analytics and computer software skills
    • Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
    • High attention to detail and ability to manage large, complex datasets
    • Ability to manage ad hoc requests under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy
    Additional Skills:
    • SharePoint proficiency
    • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
    • Effective collaboration with senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders
