Position Overview


The Business Analyst will play a critical role in the company's operations department, assisting with technology implementation and processes in its primary database. This position requires a strong background in business technology and working with development teams, specifically within Salesforce environments.


Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities


The Business Analyst is an LA-based position on a hybrid schedule with at least two (2) days in-office. This position will report to the VP, Loan Operations - Servicing. While not an exhaustive list, the Business Analyst will be responsible for:


• Work on technological implementations in Salesforce
• Create and run ad hoc reporting from Salesforce• Lay out new fields and processes for Salesforce and work with the development team to test functionality
• Write procedures for maintaining data integrity in our various systems
• Create process documents outlining data procedures and new updates in Salesforce
• Assist with data cleanup projects
• Analyze existing processes for inefficiencies and redundancies, and propose improvements
• Train team members on Salesforce procedures
• Troubleshoot Salesforce performance issues and work with the development team to resolve errors


Education and Experience


• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in business analysis and operations, with a proven track record of working with large datasets and performing complex analyses.
• 1-2 years of experience in the mortgage or real estate industry, with a solid understanding of mortgage products preferred.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of the Agile Methodologies and Atlassian (Jira) platform.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize assigned tasks / projects with minimal assistance.
• Knowledge of system integrations and the ability to assess their impact on business processes and requirements.
• Expert troubleshooting skills to investigate resolve and escalate problems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Salesforce certifications are a plus

Compensation


This position is exempt full-time, with salary range: $90,000 - 130,000 depending on experience level, plus discretionary bonus potential.
