Business Analyst is responsible for the business requirements elicitation, solution approach and representing the needs of the business for enterprise-wide and in-house developed applications. The Business Analyst will work closely with all aspects of the Credit Union to gather information, translate organizational details, as well as, further the success of the team's internal partners by communicating the team's concepts, technical specifications and requirements. The Business Analyst will also ensures the requirements and enhancements are tested thoroughly by ensuring a test plan is created and the results are reviewed for acceptance. The Lake Trust support and development teams are driven by a strategy that best furthers the relationship of Lake Trust and its members. The Business Analyst will have an understanding of these organizational and department objectives and use their powers of organization and thoughtfulness to best align Lake Trust's project requests to these goals.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, review, modify, and recommend business requirements applied to applications, systems, and new initiatives using both waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Direct experience analyzing systems to ensure they meet documented requirements
  • Build and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with a diverse range of staff, technical and non-technical. Ability to work with Project Managers, Scrummasters, software engineers and system analysts.
  • Act as a bridge between the business team and the technical team to reduce any gaps between expectations of the end user and final deliverable
  • Develop use cases to be used to develop non-functional and functional technical specifications, develop business model diagrams, flowcharts, write test plans and create test cases to ensure that the changes made meet the client requirements while retaining application using automated testing
  • Gather information from multiple sources (interviews, document analysis, requirement workshops, diagram)
  • Participating in retrospectives and sharing open feedback to all team members
  • Work as a leader with in the department and on projects; providing guidance, feedback, mentoring other team members
  • Facilitator of various meetings with business and technical team members
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned

Business Analyst I

Pay Range:

Education, Training, Experience, Certifications and Licensure

  • BA/BS degree is required in related technical field.
  • Demonstrated experience as an IT Business Analyst is required.
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with both business and technical management required.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) desired.
  • Experience in development and testing in a web development organization is preferred.
  • Understanding of the JIRA project-management software system is preferred.
  • Project Methodologies: Scrum, Waterfall.

Business Analyst II

Pay Range:

Education, Training, Experience, Certifications and Licensure

  • BA/BS degree is required in related technical field
  • 2+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst is required.
  • 2+ years interacting with both business and technical management required.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) desired
  • Experience in development and testing in a web development organization is preferred.
  • Understanding of the JIRA project-management software system is preferred.
  • Project Methodologies: Scrum, Waterfall

Business Analyst III

Pay Range:

Education, Training, Experience, Certifications and Licensure

  • BA/BS degree is required in related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst is required.
  • 5+ years interacting with both business and technical management required.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) desired
  • Experience in development and testing in a web development organization is preferred.
  • Understanding of the JIRA project-management software system is preferred.
  • Project Methodologies: Scrum, Waterfall
