IDR is seeking a Business Analyst to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, TX. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of high-quality products into production for a large, complex technology environment. This is a great fit for a seasoned analyst who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and delivery teams to drive requirements, quality assurance, and release readiness.
Position Overview for the Business Analyst:
- Lead planning and coordination activities that support successful releases into production across multiple scrum teams
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for moderate to complex solutions
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions (workshops, interviews, and JAD sessions) to align needs and outcomes
- Drive UAT planning and execution, including defect triage and collaboration with delivery teams to resolve issues
- Partner closely with IT service management process owners (e.g., change management) to ensure controlled, high-quality deployments
Requirements for the Business Analyst:
- 8+ years of core Business Analyst experience supporting moderate to complex business solutions
- Proven ability to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for large-scale custom-developed applications
- Strong stakeholder management experience, including facilitating workshops, interviews, and JAD sessions
- Hands-on experience creating BRDs, FRDs, use cases, process flows, and user stories
- Experience leading UAT planning/execution and managing defect triage through resolution
