V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring a Business Analyst 3 for our premier client Austin, TX.
 
 
 
Education and Experience:

• 10 Strong written and verbal communication skills; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 8 Experience as a Business Analyst/Business Data Analyst gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements in an enterprise IT environment, including state government or large enterprise settings following formal SDLC processes
• 8 Experience analyzing and documenting business processes, including current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) process flows and data flow diagrams
• 8 Extensive hands-on experience writing and interpreting SQL (complex queries, joins, aggregations) to perform data analysis, validation, and ad hoc investigation directly against relational databases
• 8 Demonstrated experience extensively engaging with business stakeholders to elicit, clarify, and validate requirements through workshops, interviews, and facilitated sessions
• 8 Experience translating business requirements into functional/data requirements documents and business requirement documents (BRDs) for technical teams
• 8 Experience defining and documenting business measures, metrics, and KPIs, and working with reporting/analytics teams to define report specifications and data sourcing requirements

• 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Min 5 years of experience, served as a liaison between the Business community and Customer IT Teams (i.e., Architecture, Project Delivery, Application Sustain, etc.). Strong experience as a Data Analyst in analyzing raw data, and as a Business Analyst in requirements gathering, understanding technology, and any project management experience with PMP are a huge plus.

• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standard business process mapping, and reengineering.
