I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
The Business Systems Analyst will review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs to formulate systems that align with overall business strategies. This role requires expertise in business process reengineering, identifying new technology applications to solve business problems, and leveraging industry-standard business process mapping and reengineering techniques.
Key responsibilities include the following:
Requirements Elicitation & Documentation Identify define and document business and technical requirements for moving from legacy systems to new solutions.
Data Mapping & Transformation Analyze data sources, identify data fields to be migrated, and map data from source to target systems.
Process Modeling Document current-state As-Is and future-state To-Be business processes.
Gap Analysis Identify gaps between legacy functionality and the new system, proposing solutions for data cleansing or process adjustments.
Validation & Testing Define test cases, validate data consistency, and perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify successful migration.
Stakeholder Management Facilitate workshops, communicate progress, and manage risks with business users and technical teams.
Documentation & Training Create user manuals, functional specs, and support training materials for the new system.

Experience in requirements gathering and testing of web-based applications.
Experience in performing data analysis from databases using SQL.
Experience in creating mock-ups for user interfaces.
Experience in creating requirement traceability matrix.
Experience in writing test cases and test scripts.
Experience in testing of batch jobs and web services.
Preferred
Working on projects following Agile Development Methodologies.
