Purpose Statement
The Business Analyst II (BA) is responsible for capturing data for the IT department as required and breaking it down into easy-to-understand language. The BA translates technical and business requirements into a common language that can be shared across departments and teams. This information will then be used by various departments within and without IT to make business and IT decisions.
The BA is responsible for interfacing with customers and stakeholders for work intake and technical workload estimation as the digital front door for the Data Analytics team. This role also works with IT leaders to coordinate program delivery via Agile methodology.
Essential Functions
Work with technical team members, IT leaders, and business stakeholders to collect and rationalize business requirements, estimate workload effort and timeline, and communicate progress status to stakeholders.
Organize and follow through progress with technical engineers via Agile methodology in each scrum planning and execution.
Build documentation and collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive and updated documentation for system information, process flow, standards, and best practices for data products.
Work with IT senior leaders to prioritize business demands based on technical team burn rate and workload.
Be the focal point for customer communications for break/fix support, new request intake discovery, and inter-team collaborations.
Capture and track Data Analytics team performance KPIs such as customer delightfulness survey results.
Manage team DevOps boards for task assignments and tracking.

Education/Experience/Skill Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or equivalent working experience.
5 years experience in managing project delivery for data analytics or software engineering field.
3 years experience with Agile methodology by taking active roles as scrum master.
2 years experience with digital front door function as technical program manager (TPM) to handle intake with stakeholders, prioritization with IT senior leaders, and execution follow-up with Data Analytics engineers.
Strong communication skills including interaction with stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal skills and situational skills to drive consensus and alignment.
Deep sense of accountability and ownership.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is [$53/hr on W2]. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
