Job Description:
This job is responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategic initiatives and/or processes aligned to priorities within a functional area and/or business. Key responsibilities include defining, developing, executing, monitoring, and/or refining strategic initiatives and processes in close collaboration with key stakeholders and internal partners.

This job is responsible for leading operations of a highly complex environment, connecting with line of business partners to grow the business responsibly while driving operational excellence. Key responsibilities include building and executing business initiatives and/or processes, while partnering with line of business stakeholders. Job expectations include developing a cross-channel experience that delivers exceptional client care while innovating cross channel development, managing key performance indicators, and leadership development.

Responsibilities:

• Builds and/or executes business initiatives and/or processes, while partnering with stakeholders and partners
• Solves complex problems and delivers on business initiatives and processes by applying subject matter expertise and technical knowledge of the business
• Engages with key stakeholders, partners, and business leadership to deliver on business objectives
• Performs analytics, assessments, and/or interpretation of data and/or information to identify business opportunities, derive insights, and measure outcomes
• Develops strategic and tactical plans to drive progress towards business goals and objectives
• Partners with and influences senior leaders on strategic priorities
• Champions organizational vision and values executing consistently to drive business results 
• Manages competing business and administrative priorities to optimize productivity, reduce performance variability, and achieve peak performance while influences key partners with a focus on relationship building to achieve desired business results

LOB Specific Responsibilities:

Execution Focus:

• This role is heavily focused on network execution decisions
• Annual center designations, operating hours, and ongoing network planning
• Owner of differentiated service models:  i.e. – non-client check cashing, foreign currency and card cash advance

Network Planning Decisions:

• Assesses branch locations and determine whether closures require a replacement hub in the market
• Evaluates nearby financial centers to understand capacity, traffic, and customer demand before making decisions
• Partners with Regional Executives on market assessments and network changes
• For all new and existing markets, determines:
  • Whether a location should operate as a hub or a spoke
  • Appropriate operating hours
  • Whether the center should be open on Saturdays

Facility and Remodel Planning:

• Supports branch remodel decisions, including determining the number of teller windows and other physical layout considerations
• Reviews traffic patterns, customer usage, and projected demand to ensure the design aligns with business needs

Service Requests and Market Assessments:

• Evaluates requests such as adding or removing services (for example, night drops)
• Assesses geography, customer demand, traffic patterns, and proximity to other centers before approving or denying requests
• Makes data-driven decisions based on market needs rather than individual center preferences

Required Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional projects or strategic initiatives
• Financial Center leadership experience or equivalent
• Experience translating data and analytics to influence and drive decisions
• Proactively builds trusted relationships with key partners/executives 
• Communicates strategic business plans and tactical goals to team members 
• Ability to be a change agent and work in a fast-paced environment 
• Collaborates effectively to build and nurture strong relationships in a matrix environment 
• Has the ability to learn and adapt to new information, technology platforms, handle ambiguity and adapt to changing circumstances. 
• Demonstrates effective time management skills and the ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. 
• Experience with risk mitigation, operational excellence and process management

• Track record of success working in an environment with individual and/or team goals where goals were routinely met or exceeded 
• Previous experience in a highly matrixed financial industry 
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$117,500.00 - $185,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
