Job Description

We are seeking a Network / System Engineer III to join our team supporting the Charlotte ATM Lab. The candidate will have experience in software installation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance across physical and virtual ATM environments and a proven ability to plan, schedule, and execute software installs, updates, and hardware readiness for testing.

Responsibilities:

• Install ATM software on Virtual ATM Machines hosted on vSphere infrastructure.
• Install ATM software on Physical ATM Machines.
• Install vulnerability patches on Windows to address CVEs.
• Prepare physical ATM hardware for tests and ensure all devices operate correctly.
• Configure physical devices to support varied test scenarios.
• Diagnose and resolve basic hardware issues, faults, and jams.
• Diagnose networking and connectivity issues and coordinate complex repairs with on-site technicians.
• Install software to Physical ATMs using USB media and remote distribution tools such as SCCM.
• Install and initiate scripted software deployments on virtual machines.
• Review installation results for success or failure and remediate failures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience planning, scheduling, and executing software installs and updates.
• Proficiency with software distribution tools, including SCCM.
• Networking skills for connectivity troubleshooting.
• PowerShell scripting capability.
• Python scripting familiarity.
• Familiarity with Bank of America Horizon Platform.
• Hands-on ATM hardware technician experience.
• Basic knowledge of AI prompt engineering.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong organizational skills with a proactive mindset.
• Effective communication and teamwork.

Role Logistics and Schedule

• Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Work arrangement: Full on-site, non-negotiable.
• Start timeframe: October or November.
• Interview process: One or two rounds. Video required. In-person required. Glider ID verification.
