The role:
As our building manager, you will play a key role in keeping three of our agency's facilities running smoothly and safely: the Mill Creek building, the Salem Materials Lab and the Milwaukie Lab. You will analyze facility needs, help shape policies and support management with system planning, facility budgeting and project prioritization. This position also serves as the Mill Creek site emergency coordinator, playing an active role in emergency management, including coordinating building evacuations and responding to emergency situations. Minimum qualifications:
Any combination of experience or education equivalent to three years technical-level experience that typically supports the knowledge and skill requirements listed for the classification.
OR
A bachelor's degree in business or public administration, behavioral or social sciences, finance, political science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills.
Special qualifications:
Driving is an essential function of this position. You must have a valid U.S. driver license and an acceptable driving record. We will conduct pre-employment driving records checks on our final candidate(s). Your license does not have to be issued in Oregon to be considered.
