Responsibilities
ECS is offering an exciting opportunity for a Building Enclosure Department Manager to join our Florida Building Science + Infrastructure team in Tampa, FL. In this role, you'll lead projects involving inspections, testing, assessments, and commissioning of building envelopes for existing structures. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality consulting solutions to a diverse range of facilities and clients. If you have a strong technical background, proven leadership skills, and the drive to grow a department, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Leadership & Practice Growth
Technical & Project Oversight
Oversee projects involving:
Building envelope and enclosure evaluations
Roof and waterproofing assessments
Moisture and water intrusion investigations
Property condition assessments (PCA)
Forensic investigations and failure analysis
Structural evaluations and related design work
Code compliance inspections and plan review services
Review technical reports, proposals, scopes, and deliverables to ensure quality and consistency
Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and clients
Support project management efforts including scheduling, budgeting, and client communication
