Position Summary
We are hiring a highly skilled Broiler Cook to execute steaks and proteins at a consistently high level. This role requires precision, discipline, and the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for professionals who take pride in their craft, understand temperature control and timing, and can deliver consistent results at volume.
What Success Looks Like
Steaks are cooked to exact temperature consistently
Plates are executed cleanly and with attention to detail
Timing is controlled across multiple tickets and fire times
Station is organized, clean, and fully set for service
Communication with expo and kitchen team is clear and proactive
Standards are maintained under pressure without shortcuts
Key Responsibilities
Execute all broiler/grill items to specification and temperature accuracy
Manage multiple tickets and fire times with precision
Maintain full control of your station during high-volume service
Communicate clearly with expo and kitchen team
Ensure consistency in portioning, seasoning, and presentation
Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards
Keep station clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times
Support overall kitchen operations as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years experience on a broiler or grill in a full-service restaurant or steakhouse
Strong understanding of steak temperatures, resting, and carryover cooking
Ability to work clean and organized under pressure
Proven ability to execute consistently at high volume
Strong work ethic and professional kitchen habits
Team-first mindset with no “that’s not my job” mentality

Schedule and Physical Requirements
Full availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand and work for extended periods
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment
