    Description

    Westside Lexus is currently seeking an experienced Billing & Title Specialist. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automotive dealership billing and title processing, excellent attention to detail, and ability to accurately process a high volume of vehicle transactions in a fast-paced dealership environment.

     Essential Job Responsibilities:

    • Process and bill new and pre-owned vehicles deal accurately and timely
    • Review deal jackets for required documentation, signatures, and accuracy prior to billing
    • Verify vehicle sale information, including selling price, trade information, taxes, fees, incentives, rebates, and other deal components.
    • Ensure all deal information is entered accurately into the dealership management system
    • Post vehicle sales transactions to the appropriate general ledger accounts
    • Verify funding information and ensure finance documentation corresponds with the final deal structure
    • Identify missing, incomplete, or incorrect documentation and work with Sales and Finance admin team to resolve discrepancies
    • Process deal corrections, adjustments and other billing changes as necessary
    • Verify payoff information and supporting documentation on trade-in vehicles
    • Ensure manufacturer incentives, rebates, and applicable credits are properly documented and accounted for
    • Maintain accurate records of billed and pending deals and follow up on outstanding items
    • Assist with month-end processing by ensuring deals are billed accurately and within established deadlines
    • Research and resolve billing discrepancies in coordination with Accounting, Finance, and Sales departments
    • Maintain organized deal files and supporting documentation for accounting and audit purposes
    • Assist with title and registration documentation associated with completed vehicle transactions
    • Follow established dealership policies, accounting procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements
    • Perform additional dealership accounting and billing duties as assigned

     Qualifications:

    • Working knowledge of new and pre-owned vehicle deal processing
    • Experience reviewing sales and finance documentation for accuracy and completeness
    • Strong understanding of dealership accounting and billing procedures
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to prioritize workload and meet daily and month-end deadlines
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively with Sales, Finance, Accounting, and other dealership departments

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 years of billing experience
    • Ignite (Reynolds & Reynolds) experience preferred
    • High school diploma or general education required (GED)
