Position Overview: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Specialist to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely invoicing for our construction projects. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the financial success of our company.


Responsibilities:



  • Prepare and process invoices for construction projects in accordance with contract terms and project milestones

  • Review project contracts and documentation to ensure accurate billing and compliance with client requirements

  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to gather necessary information for billing purposes

  • Maintain billing records and documentation in an organized manner for auditing and reporting purposes

  • Respond to client inquiries regarding billing discrepancies or other related issues in a timely and professional manner

  • Assist with month-end close processes and financial reporting as needed

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to streamline billing operations


Qualifications:



  • 2+ years of experience in billing or accounting, preferably in the construction industry

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g.,Deltec, SAP)

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Prior experience with construction billing processes and familiarity with construction contracts is a plus
