Billing Specialist, Home Health Opportunity Description

Our client is a well-established and growing Home Health organization. They are looking to add a Billing Specialist with New York Medicaid/Medicare experience based out of the Brooklyn, NY area. This is an on-site position.

Billing Specialist, Home Health Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of home health billing or healthcare revenue cycle experience.
• Experience billing Medicaid, Managed Care, Medicare Advantage, or other insurance payers.
• Knowledge of claim processing, denials management, and billing software systems.

 
Billing Specialist, Home Health Responsibilities

• Submit and follow up on Medicaid and home health insurance claims for timely payment.
• Research, correct, and resolve claim denials, rejections, and billing discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate billing records and work accounts receivable to collect outstanding balances.
