Position Overview
We are seeking a bilingual Spanish-speaking Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing outpatient practice in Richmond, Virginia. This role is ideal for an NP or PA with hands-on experience performing joint injections who enjoys working in a patient-centered, collaborative clinical environment.
You’ll provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, with a strong emphasis on musculoskeletal evaluation and intra-articular injections.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans
- Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal and general medical conditions
- Perform joint injections (e.g., knee, shoulder, hip, elbow, wrist, ankle)
- Educate patients on treatment options and follow-up care
- Communicate effectively with Spanish- and English-speaking patients
- Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) in Virginia (or eligibility for licensure)
- Fluent bilingual Spanish/English (required)
- Proven experience performing joint injections
- Strong clinical and procedural skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in orthopedics, sports medicine, family practice, urgent care, or primary care
- Prior work with diverse or underserved populations
