Job Summary:
Medical Assistant position supporting a urology practice within New York Health. Role focuses on patient intake, clinical support, diagnostic testing, and assisting providers in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Bilingual English/Russian required.
Manage patient intake and accurately document patient information
Collect and process laboratory specimens, including venipuncture
Record patient vital signs
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
Perform EKGs and point-of-care testing
Qualifications
BLS certification required
1+ year of Medical Assistant or outpatient clinical experience
Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR)
Understanding of infection control and PPE protocols
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy clinical environment
