We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about helping others navigate the complexities of immigration law.
Responsibilities:- We're looking for someone who possesses the knowledge of procedural requirements for Removal Defense, Asylum, Petition Filing, NVC Review, Consular Interview and Naturalization.
- Assist attorneys in preparing and filing immigration petitions and applications.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for case preparation.
- Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish to provide updates and gather necessary documentation.
- Maintain case files and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in client interviews and represent the firm at immigration-related hearings.
- Stay informed on changes in immigration laws and procedures.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a legal or immigration-related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a paralegal in immigration law.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in legal research and case management software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of immigration processes and procedures is preferred.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to client service.
