    Your New Role

    Pay Range: $26.35- $32.00 / hour; based on experience.

    Location: Flexible hybrid schedule; Must be able to work at our Home Office in Mission Valley, San Diego, CA 2-3 days per week.

    Hours: Regular business hours Monday - Friday. 

    Responsibilities:

    The Total Rewards Coordinator supports the day-to-day administration of Chuze benefits and insurances, 401(k) and saving plans, disability programs, and compensation processes. Partnering with the Total Rewards and People Teams, this role helps deliver a positive employee experience through strong organization, attention to detail, communication, and a service-focused approach to enhancing Chuze's employee value proposition.

    • Serve as a trusted People Team partner, providing kind, timely support to Chuzers and leaders across the company regarding benefits questions, eligibility, enrollment, and coverage details
    • Administer our Total Rewards programs, including health plans, 401(k), HSA, open enrollment, compensation, and leave of absence processes
    • Maintain accurate records, audits, reports, billing information, and payroll-related benefits data
    • Partner with the People Team and vendors to resolve issues, process changes, and support compliance requirements
    • Review administrator and insurance carrier reports for discrepancies, follow up on routine issues, and escalate compliance concerns as appropriate
    • Support required benefits compliance activities and recordkeeping related to COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, ACA, and other applicable requirements under the direction of Total Rewards leadership

    • Maintain awareness of Total Rewards practices and assist with compensation data, employee recognition programs, communications, resources, and ongoing training for managers

    Your Skills:

    Requirements:
    • Strong foundational knowledge in benefits and 401(k) administration or compensation practices

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel

    • Strong attention to detail with the ability to research routine issues, identify discrepancies, and escalate questions appropriately

    • Organized and accountable, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

    • Capacity to receive and deliver constructive feedback

    Preferences:
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
    • SHRM or other Human Resources certification

    Physical Abilities:
    • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
    • Ability to sit for extended periods
    • Ability to operate a telephone, computer, and other standard office equipment

    Due to the nature of this role, the selected candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle record check.
