Duration: 6 Months (Potential for Extension)
Job Description
The Benefits Analyst supports the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, welfare, and retirement plans. Responsibilities include administering benefit plans, supporting open enrollment activities, maintaining HRIS data, reconciling benefit invoices, coordinating with carriers and vendors, preparing audit documentation, and supporting compliance initiatives, annual 401(k) audits, and Form 5500 preparation.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience
Required Skills
Experience administering employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, HSA/FSA, and retirement plans
Extensive experience managing 401(k) retirement plans, including non-discrimination testing
Experience supporting or leading annual 401(k) audits and Form 5500 preparation
Experience with benefits administration in HRIS systems, preferably Dayforce
Benefits invoice reconciliation and eligibility management experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience creating Mail Merges in Microsoft Word
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of benefits compliance regulations, including ERISA, ACA, COBRA, and HIPAA
Experience working with benefit carriers and third-party administrators
Experience supporting annual open enrollment system setup, testing, and benefit communications
