About the Role

In this position, you will manage and administer our client's employee benefit programs, including health insurance and retirement plans. This role exists to ensure seamless benefits operations and compliance with regulations, contributing to employee satisfaction and organizational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of employee benefit plans, including health insurance, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, retirement plans (401k), FSAs, HSAs, and other benefits.
  • Conduct audits to ensure administrative processes are performing as expected and resolve any resulting issues.
  • Assist with open enrollment preparation, communications, and related activities.
  • Resolve claim issues with insurance providers and address employee concerns regarding claims.
  • Ensure adherence to all federal and state regulations regarding employee benefits, including ACA, ERISA, and COBRA.
  • Coordinate with insurance providers and benefit vendors to monitor service quality.
  • Maintain accurate employee benefit records, including eligibility status, coverage details, and beneficiary information.
  • Communicate and respond to employee questions regarding benefits, provide guidance on plan options, and resolve benefit-related issues.
  • Assist the Director of Benefits and team members with projects and implementations as needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3 years of experience with Benefits is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office – specifically Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Word.
  • Solid understanding of employee benefits laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees and vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage complex benefit plans.
  • Proficiency with benefit administration platforms.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and make informed recommendations.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
