Benefit Service Representative (Hybrid)

$17.50 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Benefit Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will handle incoming calls and provide assistance to subscribers, providers, and group administrators regarding their benefits and claims.
Schedule
Training: 45 weeks
MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Post-Training (Hybrid):
MondayThursday: shifts between 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM 4:45 PM
No weekends required
Candidates must be able to work until 6:00 PM during the week
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls and respond to benefit-related inquiries
Assist subscribers, providers, and group administrators
Research and resolve claim issues
Process claim corrections and monitor adjudication adjustments
Return calls to providers and subscribers as needed
Document all calls and enter detailed notes in the system
Route calls and issues to the appropriate department for resolution
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
High level of dependability and professionalism
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, call-center environment
Additional Requirements
All candidates will be subject to pre-employment screenings
High School Graduate / GED required
