Job Summary

Benton County is seeking a Behavioral Health Operations Manager to join our team.

JOB SUMMARY

Under the general direction of the Behavioral Health Division Director, the Behavioral Health Operations Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating day-to-day operational functions across Behavioral Health programs. This position ensures effective operational processes, regulatory compliance, the implementation and monitoring of quality assurance and performance improvement activities that support high-quality, accessible behavioral health services.

The Behavioral Health Operations Manager provides direct supervision of supervisory, professional, and administrative staff. The role focuses on translating Division priorities into effective operational practices, supporting cross-program coordination, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement in alignment with Departmental and County goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Behavioral Health Operations Manager:

The following minimum qualifications are required for this position:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a field related to area of assignment; and
  • 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in area of assignment, including 2 years of managerial or supervisor experience.
  • Please note: Supervisory experience includes the authority to hire, terminate, assign, reward and discipline other employees.

Special Requirements:

  • Drivers License: Valid Oregon Driver's License. This position requires driving and may require use of a personal vehicle.
  • Hiring is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.

Annual Salary Range:

  • Behavioral Health Operations Manager: $80,012.61 - $109,107.65

  • This position is eligible for up to two salary raises within your first year. An Increase may be given at the end of the 6-month probationary period, depending on starting salary, and at the 1-year anniversary, as long as your performance is in good standing! Annual performance-based increases are given until the maximum of the salary range is reached.
