Job Description:
Seeking an experienced Data Solution Architect to support its Engineering and Technology Innovation team. The role involves developing and refining engineering ontologies, taxonomies, and data models for process specifications while collaborating with engineering, tools, and IT teams to transition from document-based to model-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine engineering ontologies and taxonomies for process specifications.
- Design conceptual and physical data models.
- Work with XML, RDF, and graph databases.
- Partner with engineering and IT teams to improve authoring and content management tools.
- Standardize engineering process specification content.
- Capture requirements from PDFs, XML documents, tables, and flag notes.
- Support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) initiatives.
- Work in an Agile environment with evolving requirements.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Data Solution Architecture.
- Experience with MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering).
- Knowledge of XML, RDF, and Graph Databases.
- Experience with Data Modeling, Ontology, and Taxonomy Development.
- Engineering data and process specification experience.
- Agile methodology experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
