Barista / Retail Team Member – Paris Baguette
Paris Baguette is looking for friendly, reliable, and energetic
Baristas/Retail Team Members to join our team in Washington, DC.
Morning availability is strongly preferred. Shifts may begin as early as 5:00 AM. Weekend availability is required.
Pay: $18.40/hour + tips
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing coffee, espresso, and specialty beverages
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Operating the POS/register and handling transactions
- Packaging pastries, cakes, and other café items
- Taking inventory and assisting with inventory organization
- Receiving deliveries and helping organize and restock the walk-in cooler and freezer
- Restocking products and supplies throughout the café
- Maintaining a clean and organized café, including the dining area, beverage stations, and work areas
- Cleaning and maintaining restrooms
- Sweeping and mopping floors as needed
- Assisting with opening duties
- Working as a team and helping wherever needed in a fast-paced environment
What we're looking for:
- Reliable and punctual
- Weekend availability required
- Comfortable with early-morning shifts
- Able to multitask and work efficiently during busy periods
- Friendly and professional with customers
- Willing to assist with cleaning, restocking, deliveries, and general café upkeep
- Barista or café experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
