About the Role:Rustika Cafe & Bakery Katy is looking for a warm, energetic Barista & Guest Services team member to join our growing family! You'll be the heart of our guest experience — crafting delicious beverages and creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps customers coming back. Responsibilities:- Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks, espresso beverages, and other café menu items to order
- Greet and assist guests with a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure an exceptional customer experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and handle cash and card transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, counter, and equipment throughout the shift
- Restock pastry cases, beverages, and supplies as needed to support smooth daily operations
- Answer guest questions about menu items, ingredients, and bakery offerings
- Collaborate with team members to manage rush periods and maintain efficient service flow
Requirements:- Previous barista and customer service experience is required
- Strong communication skills and a naturally friendly, guest-first attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced café environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented work ethic
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and POS transactions
- Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire
- Flexible availability including weekends, mornings, and holidays
